HCCPM stands for Heavy Civil Construction Project Management, the name of our course. We abbreviate it mainly because we got tired of typing out the entire thing every time.

Unfortunately not at this moment, no. For tax and legal reasons, the HCCPM course and services are only available to individuals residing in the United States. We are working on expanding our offerings around the world.

Each student will have access to the HCCPM Course and the Dozer Dave AI Assistant for three (3) months from the date of purchase. After three (3) months, the student may have the option to continue having access to the HCCPM Course and Dozer Dave AI Assistant on a monthly subscription.

The HCCPM Course is hosted on Canvas and can be accessed via Dozer CPM’s Canvas Portal or the Canvas Student App. Once you purchase the course, we will send you a direct link to Canvas where you will be asked to create a free account. Once you sign in, you‘re off and running!

The Dozer HCCPM course was outlined and written by a construction executive over a year period. At no point was AI used to generate outlines, modules, stories, SOPs, lesson ideas, write the content, or create the resources. Everything in this course is the real world experience and lessons of construction professionals and has been proven in the field. We did leverage Grammarly’s AI Microsoft Word plug-in to help check for grammatical mistakes and generate some of the quiz questions from the material.

The HCCPM Course can be taken at your own pace, so completion times will vary. Though on average it should take around 15-20 hours. If you have the ability to focus on just the course, most can complete it in a week. We recommend taking your time through each Module, though, and focusing on learning the material and not trying to get through it as fast as you can. In the course syllabus, we lay out an 8-week program to complete the course that works around your busy schedule.

You must be 18 years or older to purchase the course.

Though the HCCPM course is focused on the heavy civil construction industry, there are many lessons and concepts that apply to all construction sectors. Regardless of exactly what type of construction you are in, if you are looking to grow your career and improve your construction project management skills, our course can help! On the other hand, if you are looking for a more general course on project management that is applicable to industries outside of construction, then we recommend you looking to take a different course.

In our opinion, a resounding yes! One of the co-founders of Dozer CPM doesn’t have a degree and worked his way up from project engineer to division manager in a large construction company. In our careers, we each have hired many project engineers and project managers who didn’t have a degree. Every construction company may have a different answer, but we’ve always wanted the smartest and hardest workers on our team regardless of any formal education. One inspiration to create this course was to hopefully help those without a degree get more training if they are trying to break into the industry.
