HCCPM stands for Heavy Civil Construction Project Management, the name of our course. We abbreviate it mainly because we got tired of typing out the entire thing every time.

Unfortunately not at this moment, no. For tax and legal reasons, the HCCPM course and services are only available to individuals residing in the United States. We are working on expanding our offerings around the world.

Each student will have access to the HCCPM Course, the Dozer Dave AI Assistant, 1-on-1 mentoring, and the Dozer CPM community for six (6) months from the date of purchase. After six (6) months, the student will have the option to continue having access to the HCCPM Course and Dozer CPM services on a monthly subscription.

The HCCPM Course is hosted on Canvas and can be accessed via Dozer CPM’s Canvas Portal or the Canvas Student App. Once you purchase the course, we will send you a direct link to Canvas where you will be asked to create a free account. Once you sign in, you‘re off and running!

The Dozer HCCPM course was outlined and written by a construction executive over a year period. At no point was AI used to generate outlines, modules, stories, SOPs, lesson ideas, write the content, or create the resources. Everything in this course is the real world experience and lessons of construction professionals and has been proven in the field. We did leverage Grammarly’s AI Microsoft Word plug-in to help check for grammatical mistakes and generate some of the quiz questions from the material.

The HCCPM Course can be taken at your own pace, so completion times will vary. If you have the ability to focus on just the course, most can complete it in a week. We recommend taking your time through each Module, though, and focusing on learning the material and not trying to get through it as fast as you can. In the course syllabus, we lay out an 8-week program to complete the course that works around your busy schedule.

You must be 18 years or older to purchase the course.

Though the HCCPM course is focused on the heavy civil construction industry, there are many lessons and concepts that apply to all construction sectors. Regardless of exactly what type of construction you are in, if you are looking to grow your career and improve your construction project management skills, our course can help! On the other hand, if you are looking for a more general course on project management that is applicable to industries outside of construction, then we recommend you looking to take a different course.

We provide additional services such as looking to connect candidates to a recruiter, resume check, and interview coaching because we truly want to help our students reach their goals of moving up in their career! But that doesn’t mean you have to partake in them if that doesn’t work for you. The HCCPM Course was actually originally created to help people gain more training and knowledge while staying at their current company. If you like where you’re at but still want to improve and move up, we can help there too!

If you purchase the course using your company’s money or the course is purchased for you by your company, then you are not eligible for our recruiter, resume, and interview coaching services. This is out of respect for the companies who wish to purchase the Dozer CPM course to train their teams.

Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that a recruiter will choose to represent you or that you will get a job or an interview. That will depend on your experience, abilities, and resume. That being said, through our 1-on-1 mentoring, resume check, and interview coaching we’re going to do our best to help! When you combine all that with the knowledge from the course, though we can’t guarantee it, we like your chances to land that interview!

The 1-on-1 mentoring includes phone calls and emails with one of Dozer CPM’s project managers for the duration of your service. You will get to ask questions from those who have actually run construction projects. Though you will ultimately have to make your own decisions regarding your project and career, we will talk with you about what worked for us and how we handled various situations when we were in the field.

In our opinion, a resounding yes! One of the co-founders of Dozer CPM doesn’t have a degree and worked his way up from project engineer to division manager in a large construction company. In our careers, we each have hired many project engineers and project managers who didn’t have a degree. Every construction company may have a different answer, but we’ve always wanted the smartest and hardest workers on our team regardless of any formal education. One inspiration to create this course was to hopefully help those without a degree get more training if they are trying to break into the industry.
